The founders of TotalView Technologies were early supercomputing pioneers at BBN (Bolt, Beranek and Newman). They conceived of the technology that would become TotalView in the mid-80s while working on the Butterfly computer (the first parallel processor, shared memory computer). Today, TotalView’s products set the standard for interactive analysis and debugging. They’re used by teams at major corporations and research labs to develop some of the world’s most sophisticated software, whether those applications are using serial or parallel architectures or whether they are running on supercomputers or on commodity hardware.
TotalView was acquired by Rogue Wave in December 2009.
