Latest Version of Software to Facilitate Development of Graphical User Interfaces Supports Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, Microsoft .NET and Microsoft Office 2003

(Nasdaq: QVDX) providing reusable software components and services that facilitate application development, today announced the release of a significant update to the Stingray product suite, including enhancements to the Stingray® Studio, Objective Grid and Objective Toolkit. With this release all Stingray® products now work seamlessly with Visual Studio 2005, enabling use of Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC) based products in Microsoft .NET environment. The Stingray® product suite simplifies the development of Windows-style front-end applications, shortening development time and easing application maintenance and evolution.
This release of Rogue Wave® Stingray Studio 2006 provides the graphical components needed to mimic the look and feel of Microsoft applications, facilitating the creation of customized user interfaces. By providing flexible, comprehensive components that handle the details of MFC, Microsoft .NET, and ActiveX graphical user interface (GUI) functionality, Rogue Wave Stingray Studio allows developers to shift their focus to the user requirements and the business logic of the application, decreasing development time and costs.
Stingray Studio 2006 offers software developers several key enhancements to facilitate and simplify the development and migration of "Microsoft-style" front-ends for applications built on Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC), ActiveX or Microsoft .NET technology platforms. The Stingray 2006 product suite includes the following enhancements:
