Stingray® Studio Edition 10.0

Stingray Studio Edition 10. is the successor to Stingray® Studio 2006 Version 3. The primary enhancements for this version are:

  • Support for Microsoft Windows Vista O/S
    • Stingray Studio 10.0 Microsoft Foundation Class libraries have been updated to run on the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system.
    • Vista Classic look and feel implemented across the entire Stingray Studio suite.
  • Support for Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack 1
    • Stingray Studio 10.0 Microsoft Foundation Class libraries have been updated to support Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack 1.
  • Support for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
    • Stingray Studio 10.0 Microsoft Foundation Class libraries have been updated to support Microsoft Visual Studio 2008.

Additional Product Enhancements

  • Separated output directories for libraries, allowing side by side compilation with multiple compilers and multiple architectures.
  • Improved build processes for importing/exporting library symbols, manifest file generation, and platform targeting.
  • Grid and Views Designers ported to Microsoft Visual Studio 2005.
  • Build Wizards updated -- Regex option is now off by default, removing the dependency in the libraries.
  • Enhanced printing functionality in Objective Views library

Stingray® Studio 2006 Version 3

Stingray Studio 2006 Version 3 is a maintenance release that adds support for the Microsoft Visual Studio® 2005 Service Pack 1 update, as well as including additional stabilization and bug fixes. It includes all enhancements in Stingray Studio Version 2.

64-bit support

Stingray is now available in two versions: 32-bit and 32/64-bit. 64-bit support provides increased performance. Please see the Stingray support matrix for the most up-to-date support.

Streamlined Visual Studio integration in the Installer

No need for a separate Wizard to integrate to Visual Studio, Stingray products now provide full integration of the development environment as part of the install process.
