Beta begins for TotalView 8.9 with CUDA support

September 14, 2010 — Rogue Wave Software is beginning beta testing for its TotalView 8.9 debugger, along with ReplayEngine 1.8 and MemoryScape 3.2. These interoperable products are designed to simplify debugging and memory analysis especially for applications that are data-intensive, multi-threaded, or distributed across a network or cluster.

TotalView 8.9 features:

  • Support for debugging on NVIDIA CUDA 3.0 for Linux-x86 and Linux-x86-64
  • TVScript automated batch processing support expanded for Blue Gene/L , Blue Gene/P, and Cray XT
  • Support for the display of very long C++ expressions in the data window
  • Expanded platform, operating system, and parallel runtime (MPI) support
