Brian Pierce
Chief Executive Officer
Brian Pierce is a technology industry veteran who has led and repeatedly built rapidly scaling businesses through dynamic, hands-on management. An experienced software executive with more than 20 years of technical, sales and operational experience, Brian has served as CEO of Rogue Wave since 2008. He leads the management team as the company continues to aggressively expand its product portfolio and market position, both organically and through acquisition.
Most recently, Brian served as a Senior Vice President at Infor Global Solutions where he had responsibility for five independently operating business units including TriSyn Group, which merged with Infor in 2006. Prior to the merger, Brian served as President and Chief Operating Officer of TriSyn Group helping to increase total revenue by 40% over three years. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Customer Support and Satisfaction at TIBCO Software, Inc. and Vice President of Field Operations at InConcert (acquired by TIBCO). Brian started his career at Xerox where he spent 10 years in various field technical and sales positions.
Brian’s passion is working with high performance teams to deliver maximum value for both his customers and stakeholders.
Tom Gaunt
Senior Vice President of Sales
Tom Gaunt manages Rogue Wave Software's worldwide sales organization and is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the company's strategic business partners. Tom joined Rogue Wave Software in 2001 with more than 20 years sales and business development experience. Previously, he was Vice President of Business Development for Netpliance and served in a sales director role at Borland Software Corporation. Mr. Gaunt also founded several high tech start-up companies. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a BS in Computer Science.
Sean FitzGerald
Senior Vice President of Engineering/CTO
Sean FitzGerald is responsible for leading the development, marketing, strategy and vision for the Rogue Wave Family of products. Sean's business, product development and technology experience spans more than 25 years in areas of healthcare, education, geophysics, power engineering, network design, systems integration, and consulting. Prior to joining Rogue Wave, Sean held various Vice President of Engineering positions at Visual Numerics Inc., Diablo Management Group and the Masters Institute. Sean holds numerous technology certifications in addition to a B.S. in systems administration and a M.B.A. in IT Management.
Zaid Haddad
Chief Financial Officer
Zaid Haddad is responsible for leading Rogue Wave’s finance and accounting functions. Zaid has 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and treasury for public and private companies, including international software companies. His experience includes software revenue recognition, SEC reporting, SOX 404, international accounting and treasury, implementation of financial systems, and M&A due diligence, accounting, and integration. Immediately prior to Rogue Wave, Zaid served as the Corporate Controller for Webroot Software, a venture-backed security software company. Earlier, he served in Controller, Chief Accounting Officer, and CFO roles for several public and private companies. Zaid is a CPA and CMA, and holds a BS in Finance and MS in Accounting, with a minor in Management, from the University of Colorado in Boulder, and an MBA in International Business from Regis University.
Scott Lasica
Vice President, Product Management & Marketing
Scott Lasica manages Rogue Wave Software's product management, marketing, partner relationships, business development and worldwide technical sales organization. Scott joined Rogue Wave Software in 2001, bringing a broad range of experience in software technology and its use in vertical industries. Before joining Rogue Wave Software, Scott managed development teams for telecom conferencing and web collaboration applications. Prior to that, he worked as an engineer on data and visualization for the 4th generation programming language IDL, as well as applications for trajectory calculation, data visualization and analysis for several NASA funded interplanetary spacecraft missions. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
Jordan Welu
Vice President, Corporate Development
Jordan Welu is responsible for Rogue Wave’s corporate development efforts, including acquisition strategy, deal sourcing, transaction negotiation and post-transaction integration. Prior to Rogue Wave, he served as Director of Finance for venture-backed security software vendor Webroot Software, focusing on corporate development, IPO preparation and financial planning. Previously, Jordan spent five years in technology investment banking, first in SG Cowen’s Technology M&A group and next as a Research Associate at First Albany Capital covering the enterprise application software sector. He graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in American Studies. Jordan joined Rogue Wave in 2007.
